Scholarships
Since 2021, Foundation has opened up opportunities for its friends and funders to initiate Named Scholarships in the name/s of their loved ones to honor them and to support education and needs of young children.
Shrawan and Priti Nigam Scholarship
Shrawan and Priti Nigam Scholarship, the first Named Scholarship of the Foundation, is an annual Merit-cum-Means Scholarship established and funded by Ms. Urvashi Bhorkar in the name of her beloved late father, Mr. Shrawan Nigam and her mother, Mrs. Priti Nigam. Through this scholarship Ms.Urvashi Bhorkar wishes to benefit the students from underserved communities and honor her parents’ vision of “Education for all, regardless of any social standing”. This will be awarded to 10 students who are or have been a part of the Foundation’s High School Leadership Program every year.
Wanti Rani and K. L. Virmani Scholarship
Started in April 2022 by Ms Upasana Dhanda and Mr Pranshu Virmani in the memory of their grandparents to support education of blind children under Arunodaya program.
Shri Mati Ram Kishori Memorial Scholarship
On Women’s Day, March 8, 2022, Dr Archana Tripathi instituted a named scholarship, Shri Mati Ram Kishori Memorial Scholarship, in the memory of her late mother. This is a once-a-year scholarship for the education of a girl child associated with the Foundation.
